From the associated press:
The near-simultaneous bombings on the resort island of Bali killed 26 people.
The alleged masterminds of the Bali attacks were believed to be Azahari bin Husin and Noordin Mohamed Top. The masterminds were not among the suspected bombers. There were no claims of responsibility for Saturday night's coordinated attacks.
Video footage shot by a vacationer showed locals & tourists eating dinner, sipping drinks and chatting at candlelit tables before the blast.
Suspicion for the blasts fell on the Southeast Asian terrorist group Jemaah Islamiyah, which wants to establish an Islamic state across Southeast Asia and has been linked to Osama bin Laden's terrorist network.
Would someone please explain to me how killing people is going to get the world to want to agree to your reason for executing this act? In this case, it's to have an Islamic state...last I checked killing people you want to be part of your group is not a good way to get them (hello -they are now dead!) their friends and relatives to join.
Do you know who your suicide bombers really killed? They killed more local residents than foreigner tourists - who by the way you value more, obviously, why else would target them? Your own people don't seem to matter much since you use them to carry out the bombings.
Over time your plot will kill even more of the very people you want so bad to be in your established state. Foregin tourists don't like to be blown up and your local hotel, restauarant and t-shirt stand owners lose their customers. Without income they are driven to starvation.
And your doing this because an Islamic state would be better for the "people" ---
Uh huh...
