Wilma is taken her damn time

Here I sit on Sunday afternoon and with each passing hour I'm less and less worried about the monster storm Wilma - now down to a Cat 2. Still a wide storm and one that will bring us stormy windy conditions.

During our standard three hour Sunday paper reading session at Panera Bread... we watched people come and go like any other Sunday. Everyone has figured out that the storm is not coming that close to Central Florida so might as well gone on with our lives.

Sure the scene outside is not the greatest - grey, grey and more grey - thunderstorms last night but no rain this morning. At 3:15 pm it's a little breezy outside and we expect to not see much more until late tonight - early Monday.

I still have my sterno for the next storm! November 30 is the last day of "human" declared hurricane season. After the next storm that's a brewing, Alpha -which doesn't look like it's going to hit the US, I hope I don't need to bone up on my Greek letters anytime soon and we will all have a lot to be Thankful for come turkey day.
